} MAGAZINES IN BRIEF...

} We have experience producing magazines of all types and sizes, requirements, budget levels and subject matter since 1990. Modifying artwork for bound and/or sealed sections, colour, spot or black and white sections, sourcing and/or selecting imagery, even placement of editorial and advertising to form a flatplan or overview of the final product, are all in a days work. Long term or short term production of your product, design or redesign, are all welcome.

} Produced this title for 6 years. During that time we also produced a redesign and new corporate identity.

PC Magazine Australia

} We designed this title at the start of its life in Australia and produced it for 2 years for ACP, and also produced 6 editions with a minor redesign of it when it belonged to Ziff Davis-APN Partners. A production plan was also incorporated, to ensure a smooth process from concept to print.

PC Magazine New Zealand

} Articles were sometimes lifted from the above Australian edition for the New Zealand issue, of which its editor and printer were both in New Zealand while we produced it in Sydney. Two years in production.

Burke's Backyard

} We filled a staffing gap for Burke's Backyard and produced one complete issue, plus a half issue either side of the month. View comments from this client.

Cyber Publications

} Australian Netguide magazine required a redesign, corporate identity and subscription ad created. Working templates were provided to Cyber Publications, a division of OzEmail, for their junior designer to then take on the production from month to month. The publication now has a new owner.

Fairfax Business Media

} BusinessOnline magazine also required an art director to fill the staffing gap. We produced 6 editions and some minor redesign for this title, with some illustration to stretch the creativity. View comments from this client.

Mayne Publishing Pty Ltd

} A small publishing group required a redesign and working templates to speed the layout process for this title. Two editions were also produced to ensure a smooth result from the new system. Ziff Davis-APN Partners

} Jaguar Design was called to assess and improve the production process for this company's titles. At the time these included; Australian PC Magazine, Australian Internet Magazine and PC Week. We also produced 6 editions of the first two, with a minor redesign and assistance when required for PC Week. View comments from this client.

} Trade & Logistics, a small trade title with a minimal budget, also required a redesign and new masthead for the magazine. Two editions were produced with the new templates to ensure a smooth result, before handing it back to their staff.
